In the atmospheric ambience of the Cathedral Choir Hall, Salzburg pianist Christian Bauschke presents an attractive, varied programme. It begins with a sonata by the Salzburg court composer Johann Ernst Eberlin, which is still committed to the Baroque era. The "Viennese Classic" is represented by a sonata each by Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, while the Hungarian Melody by Franz Schubert sets the mood for the Hungarian Rhapsody by Franz Liszt that follows. The concert will conclude with a mazurka and the famous A major polonaise by Frédéric Chopin.
